When most people think of GPS (Global Positioning System), the thought of the navigation system in your car comes to mind. Although that navigation system does use the satellites, our Mobile Management System is so much more.
To put it simply, our system does not tell the driver where he/she is, but tells a remote dispatcher or administrator where the driver is located at that moment in time. Our complete system consists of a small hardware device mounted in the vehicle, a web based software application and connection to the internet through one of the cellular carriers.
With a simple and easy to use software application, that includes up to date mapping, the user is able to monitor not only the location of the vehicle or asset, but can tell how fast they are going, where they have stopped, how much battery life is left in the vehicles battery just to name a few.
Besides tracking vehicles or assets, most of the devices we offer can also transmit data. Most commonly referred to as M2M or machine to machine or machine to mobile, these devices play an important role in providing and transmitting information that assists in making life more efficient and profitable.
The devices can be used to transmit video, engine diagnostics, photographs and an infinite number of reports. Basically anything that can be measured or monitored electronically can be transmitted via our devices.
